It's beter. You don't kill monsters and stuff like that.
It has a belt ranking system based on points and maps: basic , normal , advanced.

You can play normal maps at 10,000 pts and advanced maps at 45,000 pts.
It has like 6 Servers for : Europe, USA, Brazil, Jpn, etc

It even has a dressing room where you dress up your character.
Take a look at the screenshots and the vids.

And 3 game modes :
- Survival Mode, where you get to kill players;
- Panel Mode, where you need to mark more spots with your bombs fire than your opponent;
- Hyper Mode, where you need to find and bring 3 orbs in the center to win.

P.S. 1: If you don't really want to lag, choose UDP ON and not UDP AUTO.
P.S. 2:If you can't see players it's cause you need to portforward 8864-8870 for UDP ON
or your firewall is blocking.
P.S. 3: The game doesn't work on Linux.

It's probably the best bomberman game for PC.
