Just picked up the DVD today, anyone catch the danny elfman exclusive track? I thought that was a pretty good nod to danny, he definatly picks the movie up by the boot straps and creates wonderful atmosphere. I also entere the poetry contest to win the ipod at www.corpsebridedvd.com which is the official site that I used to keep track of it before it came out. Anyone else a burton fan?

I really wanted to go and see this one yea, but never got round to it. I'll probably pick it up on DVD sooner or later. Is it as good as Tim Burton's other films?

Id say, yes, and it stacks up too nightmare in my humble opinion. Actually Id say the animation is better, id bank on saying the story is a little more cutesy but its on par with nightmare and definatly worth owning on dvd, if not for the story for the extraordinary animation.

Oh I thought it was great. Maybe you just had a natural bias about the movie because you wanted too see the movie that was rated R? I can see how that would be, but, still, this movie was one of burtons best movies in my opinion and obviously a huge technical achievement for him. The special features talk more in depth about burtons fascination with stop motion and the style he uses. Its really a great addition too my dvd collection I love it just as much as nightmare before christmas.

I definitely tip my hat for the creators of that movie. I heard it took one person a whole week just to make three seconds worth of animation. I dont plan on seeing it anytime soon though, just seems like an emo phase. All the emo kids like that stuff like nightmare before christmas, donny darko, etc.
