TV Squad reviews Flash Gordon

Well, not really. :P
It's an early look by TV Squad at SciFi's new show. The review is pretty positive and the guys says he'll definitely check it out. I will too based on this preview.

Well, I've been reading a couple of reviews and they have not been too kind. I'll still try and catch the pilot tomorrow and judge for myself, but honestly I'm not keeping my hopes up too high.

Really? I haven't seen those. The only one I've seen is the TV Squad one and it seems pretty optimistic. Regardless though, I'm definitely tuning in next week.

I thought it previewed tomorrow the 10th? I'm gonna check it out also, might be worth the watch. I don't put a whole lot into reviews because the person might not have the same expectations as myself.

Well, I tivoed it and watched it yesterday. I thought it was good. The plot was interesting and it looks like they are trying to get some serious overarching themes going right from the beginning. I also liked the dialoge between flash and dale, thought it was pretty well done. Better than your average scifi-love dialogue, which is usually wooden.
