...will be tons easier to moderate if you update the registration CAPTCHA to a real one. Do you have the oldskool one because you're using an older IPB? As it is now it's fairly trivial for bots to register.

We know, the guy responsible for that has been away for quite some time (trip around the world if I heard right?) and we cant really do much about it. No proper clearance and all that, otherwise it would have been done already. Moved the topic to not gaming related btw

Well, providing other capable admins access to certain FTP features has been a bugbear for years and is not likely to be resolved soon. At least with the bots posting this place gets some posts from non-staff members!
