GH background advertising.

What do you guys think about the new background advertising? Personally I think it's a great improvement over the bland grey we had there before. I do think there should be hot chicks on both sides, lol.

Anyway, great improvement from my point of view. What's your opinion on this?

PS, no whining how you don't like ads, gh depends on them to provide you with free downloads. There are ways to block them in your browser. If you really were that annoyed, you would have learned how to do that already.

The lunia ad on top however, needs to be stretched out some more. It will look better and since it's a clickable ad, it will get a better revenue when people accidentally click on it while trying to search for something. Learn how to work with your mouse , and you'll be fine.

supposedly it should show for US/CAD visitors only, but being hard-linked into html I see it hard doing geo-targeting on it.

must admit it looks better than I expected, maybe cause of the blonde chick, although it's pretty fuzzy looking when you scroll down.

I didn't like these when seen on other sites, maybe I'm just biased or it's the fact we don't have a dark layout.

it looks really cool i must say, just that you need to do a same ad in the middle, now it looks a bit weird

Long time coming, but IMHO it is a fantastic addition to the homepage. Makes it feel more dynamic and most important of all it looks like a modern site now.
