need help with MP3 player choice

Well, i want to buy an MP3 player (stupid to call them that because i use almost only flac or such). My choices are:

Samsung P3
Cowon S9
Cowon D2+

They suppose to have both great sound out of the box with decent headphones. Anyone has tried them both and can recommand me one over the other? Or if you think another MP3 player would be even better then lets hear it.

I should clearefy that I do NOT care for gimmicks like watching videos or browsing the net and such. I want a player that can play all major audio file formats in superp sound quality out of the box. People who would recommand an ipod/iphone do not need to post in here because with that recommandation you already proofed that you don't know what good SQ is. There is also that Sansa Fuze or so that supposed to be da SQ king but my friend had 4 of them and every single one broke after a couple of weeks till the store just gave him the money back instead of replacing it again.

Oh, i listen to game soundtracks on it...just to justify why i posted in the main forum

Aside from the inferior Ipod, I personally tried the Creative zen and Sony walkman. I ended up with the zen and am very happy with it. It does play videos though, don't use it myself, but it does anyway. The sd card entry is the only downside to it, it's completely open and allows dust to slip in if there is no sd card present.

As far as headphones go, I use akg: AKG Personal Audio - K 340

Never tried either of the ones you suggested.

I'd go with the Samsung P3-Y3. FLAC and OGG codec support, bluetooth, nice screen resolution, good battery duration. The 32gb model is relatively cheap compared to the Cowon S9 32gb model. I've seen the P3-Y3 at roughly £150.00GBP/€173.00EUR and the Cowon S9 32gb model cost around £270.00GBP/€312.00EUR.

there is a Domokun MP3 player that was basicly a casing for a 20 bucks player.

I also added the Cowon D2+ since i got the chance to try it last night and man, it's almost perfect. sound is exellent for such a small thingy.
I never liked the creative mp3 players. dunno why but I just dont like them.

PS: I hate touch screens. why do they all go for the overpriced but shittier to use touchscreen?

So i guess it's now the P3 VS D2+ since the S9 is rather dull. gotta check if the P3 has a card slot because Cowon's players do handly SDHC. full size SD cards, not the faggotry that is the micro

I don't think the Samsung P3 has a SDHC slot so its probably best to go with the Cowon D2+. I must say I prefer the Samsung player from an aesthetic point of view, but the Cowon received a very good review at Anything but ipod.

D2 is not D2+. the D2+ is the D2 with a....+.
ah well, just ordered the D2+ because the price is right for a 16 giger with the possibility to expand it with a SDHC card

how much does the AKG K340 go for? I actually wanted the razer Moray+. I'm a sucker for razer product except their keyboards.

Well Anything but ipod say that the D2+ is very similar to the D2. You can even hack a D2 and upgrade it to a D2+ via firmware.

yes i know but there are some minor hardware changes in it as far as i know. and D2+ got that cowon BBS thingy that makes you having multible eargasmn

doesn't matter anymore i already ordered.

But i need help with ear plugs now. I looked into them but I won't spend 500 for a shure or whatever. I want good cheap ones. gazz went in the right direction but reviewers wern't really happy with it. neither were they happy with the razer one. any suggestions for earplugs from the range of 50-100?
