Alright, fuck the earplugs. Apparently Amazon doesn't have them either. Seems like noone
is fucking carrying the Klipsch S4. But everyone seems to offer them.
So, I decided I do a lil photo tour of what the D2+ package contains:

This is what ya see first. It's actually to big considering what it contains. Still, it looks alright
compared to most other packages out there.

w00t w00t. There it is, baby. the D2+ lies on a sorta trey, under a see thru cover plastic
thingy. it looks really cheap at first glance but once you take it out it...still looks kinda cheap.

Underneath the trey with the D2+ lies alot of dead trees and crap.

You can see it contains a lot of paper stuff and most are useless. Even the instruction
manual is rather for the sake of having one than for you to look things up. I ended up
checking the i-net for everything since the manual got jackshit explained (seriously, that's all it has).
Let's see: We got an USB cable, Shitty earplugs (the sad truth about ALL players out there
is that NONE of them actually has a decent out-of-the-box earphone), a triangular mini stylus, software CD with an actually quite good COWON Media Player on it, which you can use to break all kinda copy right laws (and people trying to tell us piracy doesn't pay off. Well, it doesn't but who needs money if you can get all the 0s and 1s for free?), 3 FREE MP3 music and audio-book vouchers(of which ALL are expired!!!), a 60 page instruction manual in 5000 languages or so (of which each language gets juicy 3 pages of useless information),
warranty papers, some Japanese writing paper and even a slip with Russian writings, just for
Globalization sake.

The tiny Stylus in case you are one of those with Quasimodo sausage fingers and can't use
the touchscreen properly

You can stick it in a slot and it serves as a stand...which is actually neat....but also useless.
OK, now that we have established that all the extras that comes with it are crap, let's take a lil pic tour of the babe itself:

I put 1€ next to it to show the size of that lil babe. Unfortunately it didn't work out well because
the D2 is about 1/2 inch thick and in contrast to the coin it appears to be almost 3 times the
size but it is about 2,25 times the size of the coin

Bottom View of the D2+: The slot is for SD card expansion. It can hold a 32gig SDHC card
(not the micro SD cards but the full size ones) in it. The player itself contains 4, 8 or 16gig
internal flash memories. I got the 16gig version because that's how I roll ma bitches. The
funny prices were 116 EUR for the 4 gig, 118 EUR for the 8 and and 132 EUR for the 16 gig
version. Who da fuck would buy the 4 or 8 gig ones? i did liked the 2 EUR price difference
between the 4 and 8 gig one thou. there were some serious marketing experts behind the
pricing.

I removed the SD slot cover so you can get an idea of....something. Not much more to say
here...just stick it in. C'mon, you want it as much as I do.

The side view reveals the head phone jack and the cover of the USB jack.

Here ya go, I opened it. I hope you are happy. My D2+ feels like a lil Korean whore in a
foreign Country now. The thing on the far left is an EXTport for a charger. Next to it is a tiny
reset button in case you have the urge to...well, reset the sys. And to the right of it we got one of those mini USB jack. It takes about 3 hours to charge via EXTport using a AC adapter...or is it DC? and about 5.5 hours charging via USB. since the D2+ doesn't come
with an AC/DC adapter and you probably didn't order one with the sys (add. 15-20bucks) ya stuck with
the USB cable. Lucky me the Player was already fully charged.

Top View: The slider to the left is basically the ON/OFF button and if you switch it to the right it's on HOLD. the dot in the center is the mic. I already own a Olympus Fuckingexpensiveshit Digi Recorder so I probably will never use it. But I did test it and the sound quality is actually pretty decent. Then again, my sexy voice would give you the illusion that a 20 bucks recorder is a 15000 dollar home studio. And finally, to the right we got the volume -button, Menu button and volume +button. The good thing is that you can set them up for different task if the switch is on HOLD. I got it set up that the volume -/+ buttons are prev/next track buttons while the MENU button is PLAY/PAUSE....or was it STOP. don't remember.
Well, that's it for the overview. I might add a tech- and GUI check on it later if I can find a pair of good earplugs for a price that makes Mr. Cheapo happy.
FLAC 4 LIFE MA GOMEZ!! once you go lossless you never go back.
