OK, we shake hands, old man

On my behalf, I promise not to install warez on your PC either

Let me add something into this tho... I'm against games warez, but I still have a lot of MP3s on my pc.. Why? Mostly because usually each CD an artist releases has between 1 to 3 songs that I WANT to have. If there was an option to buy 'custom' CDs or pay-per-download the MP3s that I want, I'd do that. But not all record labels offer those services; they don't offer all the songs / artists for that, and finally you can't make a custom CD with artists that are signed to different labels. So until they come up with a viable solution, Kazaa will stay "at large" on my PC. I am more than willing to pay money for all my music - I actually consider it very fair. But I want it done on my terms.

Bucky, you're absolutely right there, but it's easy to think so, when you are getting the big bucks.

I work as an engineer and do pretty well (for the country I'm in) but still can't afford to spend money on games... or at least no more than 1 or 2 a month. Warez is the only way I can try out different games (most of which I don't like and don't play anyway). I know it's no excuse for software piracy, but that's the way things are right now for me

I do have several original games - ones I like and bought at the game store, but that's all there is.

One day, if I'm lucky, I'll be making good money and ONLY THEN will I be thinking as you do now.

Sorry if our oppinions don't match on this, but these are different worlds we are living in
there are demos to test out, and most demos include more gameplay time than you would ever pass on a full version (especially if not paid).

i wish i woulda pirated moh:aa before i bought it, what a piece of :pooh: i doubt i've played 10 hours yet (probably not even 5) i've had it over a year. on the flip side i d/l'd sof2 cuz i heard the mpdemo had the only good map on it. glad i did, cuz i realized this game rocks, and went out and bought it a week later.
so piracy does help, im sure ea is one of the biggest groups against piracy, cuz they know if someone pirates and plays their game before buying it, they wont buy it lol
i wonder if ea will put out any other good games though? if so im not paying for it thats for sure, they ripped me off they owe me. :P

EA is in the business of "mass production". They took the Microsoft way and it seems to work well for them. Releasing "new" sports games every year, which are the same old games as last year, with a few minor and "very exciting" features and updated rosters that aren't worth the $50 you shell out for them. At least Microsoft offers upgrades for owners of previous versions of products.
