The first day back from the allstar break, griffey comes into the game having homered in 5 straight games (for all numbsculls out there, he has the record of 8 straight games with a homer) he hits a long one to deap left, he thinks it is gone, then he realizes it will not go, so he makes a very sudden acceleration, and tears some muscle again, and yet again, he's gone for the season, sucks..

now for all of you that think that he has no shot at the home run record, he still has more homers than anyone else did at his age, more than barry. so it is VERY likely that bonds will breaks the hammers record, then griffey will go on to break it, then griffeys old team mate A-rod will go on to surpass that, then cardinal slugger Albert Pujols will break that... a rod is slowly breaking all the speed records for home runs, and albert will probably break those marks..

so i say that this is gonna the most exciting years in baseball history, the next 20 will be the great years again..
