If any of you have ever read any of the story of Roland the Gunslinger's quest for the Dark Tower, you will be excited to know that King is finally finishing the series.
Tomorrow the 5th book in the series will be released, with the last 2 coming out before the end of the year!!!!!!! FYI, it's only taken him 30 years to finish it!

I used to have an illustrated version of the first book. Ever read Eyes of the Dragon? A very good book. Alot of eerie similarities between some characters in that book and the Gunslinger.

You will find links from other stories woven into it, so he is really starting to tie many of his other stories in with this series. There are specifically 2 other stories that the DT characters either encounter remnants of the story (The Stand) or meet character(s) from (Salem's Lot). At this point, it seems that Good and Evil in a lot of King's works actually come from 2 sources, The Dark, and The Light. Real specific, eh?

Stephen King once said," I've got the heart of a little child... it sits in a jar on my desk."

So the wife gets me The Gunslinger for XMAS (since I kept bitchin that I couldnt find anything of my own in my house since she always moves shit around, but thats a whole 'nother story), I'm now on The Waste Lands, book 3 and anticipate being ready for book 5 by the end of January. My questions is if anyone knows or has seen the Dark Tower V, Wolves of the Calla in trade paperback. All my local book stores only sell the hard copy version.
Thanks! PS. I know amazon has the mass market paperback, but I haven't seen the trade paperback available.
