True

[QUOTE- so what! I don't see anyone making a big deal out of it and invading the US...[/quote]

Actually Jozef Stalin had that Idea after WW2 but he got scared of cause of US Nuclear capabilty (and no this is not info from the famous c&C game )

Anyway the world is just a bunch of crap nowadays ruled by people who shouldn't be there in the first place. And if I was the US i'd be more affraid of the soviet nuclear briefcases then of some country in the desert wich doesn't have an army in the first place. The US government should recon that it's far more easy to steal a nuclear weapon then 2 produce it so I hope they will coorperate with the Russians to protect those damn things.
For a few years ago a staff-member on a military base stole 3 nuclear warheads, he was arrested when he wanted to sell them in a bar, and the nukes where stored in his garage. Well luckely no-one of Al-queda or some other morron orginasation was in the bar cause then the western world would have a serious problem.

Anyway screw politics and religion

I'm with you on this one - that's my view about my country...

Then again, it's not really the government that runs the show, anyway, nor is the President... not in the US, nor in any other country - may be except for the dictatorship countries - but we can all see what happens to dictators...

SL, you are ignoring the fact the Iraq itself admitted that it had WMD's in it's possesion!
No, i'm acknowledging the fact that they admitted to that in 1992, and that the UN inspectors oversaw the destruction of said weapons and the facilities used to produce them. Granted, Iraq's cooperation with the inspectors was erratic at best, but when push came to shove Iraq always folded.

And so what if Iraq had WOMD, So does the USSR, and China, ... and USA - so what! I don't see anyone making a big deal out of it and invading the US...
I'll address this part of the post, since it is what we are kind of talking about.

Russia (the USSR no longer exists), China and the US haven't recently murdered 10 million people, or attempted to conquer 2 neighbors.

Iraq AGREED to be disarmed of it's chemical, biological and nuclear weapons and programs under UN supervision. Then didn't do it. Iraq is the only country on your list with that distinction.

You keep wanting to make it out like this was a US venture. Again, you are ignoring certain blatantly obvious facts, like there is a whole coalition of something like 13 countries that took part in the invasion in one form or another.

Interesting that I don't see you railing on about the British or the Poles here.

USA murdered millions of civilians just 50 years ago... and invaded two sovereign countries in the last 5 years or so... having this in mind you are pretty quick to label people as murders and invaders, are you not?

And it's your funny president that's making a show out of the whole Iraqi situation... now the only thing left to do is execute Saddam Hussein live on CNN

And I hope when this is all over with, you can all go to sleep proud that you are American and try not to start a new war in the next 2 or 3 years...

Here's a total list of coalition nations, why are you singling out the US when it comes to a list this big?

Link

Quote:
Who are the current coalition members?

President Bush is assembling a Coalition that has already begun military operations to disarm Iraq of its weapons of mass destruction, and enforce 17 UNSC resolutions.

The Coalition will also liberate the Iraqi people from one of the worst tyrants and most brutal regimes on earth.

Contributions from Coalition member nations range from: direct military participation, logistical and intelligence support, specialized chemical/biological response teams, over-flight rights, humanitarian and reconstruction aid, to political support.

Forty-nine countries are publicly committed to the Coalition, including:

Afghanistan
Albania
Angola
Australia
Azerbaijan
Bulgaria
Colombia
Costa Rica
Czech Republic
Denmark
Dominican Republic
El Salvador
Eritrea
Estonia
Ethiopia
Georgia
Honduras
Hungary
Iceland
Italy
Japan
Kuwait
Latvia
Lithuania
Macedonia
Marshall Islands
Micronesia
Mongolia
Netherlands
Nicaragua
Palau
Panama
Philippines
Poland
Portugal
Romania
Rwanda
Singapore
Slovakia
Solomon Islands
South Korea
Spain
Tonga
Turkey
Uganda
Ukraine
United Kingdom
United States
Uzbekistan

This number is still growing, and it is no accident that many member nations of the Coalition recently escaped from the boot of a tyrant or have felt the scourge of terrorism. All Coalition member nations understand the threat Saddam Hussein's weapons pose to the world and the devastation his regime has wreaked on the Iraqi people.

The population of Coalition countries is approximately 1.23 billion people.
Coalition countries have a combined GDP of approximately $22 trillion.
Every major race, religion, ethnicity in the world is represented.
The Coalition includes nations from every continent on the globe.
[edit] Care to justify this statement with some factual evidence?
