i don't see why everyone has problems with xp.
i run it in 'classic' mode (without the crappy blue startbar) and i haven't had any problems at all. infact, it runs faster for me than all the older versions of windows.

Where I work we are still using WIN95 so I had a unique opportunity with this old POS hardware.I used WIN95 on it for a while, and it performed like crap, froze up all the time, etc. I did a clean install of WIN2k pro and it started running great. multi-windows weren't a problem, load times were way faster, etc. I installed XP pro on it and set it to classic mode, and couldn't tell the difference.

In classic mode it looks like good ol' '98... There is only thing that bugs me, though - what the hell made Microsoft think I'd be putting everything in c:\My Documents :Oo: Whenever you start na explorer you have to click on My Computer to see your HDD partitions... I was kinda used to it, but since I've been using my sister's PC (Windows 98) for the last 2 months, going byck to my PC made the problem resurface in my mind
