Its good to see contributions and not soo much spam, thanks. They said a few minutes ago the captured dust will be returned to earth, then it would take 30 hrs to get signals back. Will it be just analysis or do they really mean the actual dust. Ah, Mr. Google? :angel:

If I'm not mistaken a capsule w/parachute will be sent to earth carrying dust in about 6 months. I'm thinking the orbit environment will be used for testing till then.

That would be pretty awesome. I was impressed with the rover, remember? I think NASA was even letting a couple of classes drive it a bit. Just for PR, but still. :thumbup: Its nice to live in interesting times.

I wonder if any of those students are or are becoming successful in that or similar field.
