in fact how much more do you expect from a team playing against the host nation being under all those pressures from their fans.mmm three f****ng goals.thats great.worth to notice this all happened without wayne rooney,their top scorer.

3rd goal was a nice and clean one.the goalie couldnt jump as high as campbell he was owned twice in no time,and also he jumped too late.nobody touched him he fumbled on his own.

I knew he was gonna do something like that the moment i saw him going funky highlighting his hair and beard.

I never forget the faces of people like him and the Latin guy who did the same thing to italy in their match against S.korea.remember?

that referee was indeed a complete asshat... even more stupid, however, was Owen in the post-game interview:

"This type of tournament comes around every 2 years... You can't expect to win it every year"

QUICK!! SOMEONE GIVE THAT MAN A MEDAL!

even from that picture i don't see anyone doing anything that'd warrant a free-kick.

i see terry jumping for the ball, i see cambell above terry jumping for the ball, and i see the goalkeeper attempting to jump for the ball and failing miserably cause he was running across from the otherside of the goal.

don't even bother trying to defend the ref's decision, cause everyone knows it was complete bullshit.

If you see the footage from the other angle, u'll notice a arm pressing the golie's shoulder, wich doesn't let him jump, and when he does tries to jump he falls because of that arm.

i'm aware of that, but your argument is flawed...

firstly: the arm was there first, terry raised his arm to gain height (as you do when you jump) and the goalie jumped up beneath it, there was absolutely no way in which terry would have been able to move his arm out of the way. He didn't look at the keeper once, his eyes were only focused on the ball, so he had no way of knowing the keeper was coming.

secondly: the reason the ref gave a free-kick is for a push, i'm pretty damn sure that there was no pushing at all in that area. also (i might be wrong about this, i'm not sure), i think the linesman said the goal was ok... he had a much better view than the ref who actually had players blocking his view of the incident.

now i'm not one to dwell on the past, but i do not see anyway in which someone could question that the goal was legitimate.

What Jammin said was 100% right, the players where the first, and the goalie decided to jump over there after and dived UNDER the players arm (cant remember which he looks Japanese in that photo ) - But the whole game was a farce, right down to those penalty's, where both penalty spots were tamperd with so the players had to move the ball a little to left, when they've been practicing all their career's with it in the middle - so they'd be off target. Bundled with the fact that the ref was on portugals side the whole match, everytime one of our players touched ronaldo, he gave a free kick instantly, the REFEREE'S A WANKER, and this time it truely applies.

Im just wondering who paid him off, or how much money he betted againsed england winning...

Oh well, i rest my case, no point argueing!

Its funny though, it seems everyone is REALLY happy to see England out of the competition, its like that every year, the portugee's fans felt so smug after the match, that they'd beaten a team like England, but are blind to see the farce of it all, the same with other country's too.
