Offences against goalkeepers
Referees are reminded that:
• It is an offence for a player to prevent a goalkeeper from releasing the ball from his hands
• A player must be penalised for playing in a dangerous manner if he kicks or attempts to kick the ball when the goalkeeper is in the process of releasing it
• It is an offence to restrict the movement of the goalkeeper by unfairly impeding him at the taking of a corner kick

HE WASNT UNFAIRLY IMPEDING HIM!!

when you jump, you have to use your arms to gain height. Terry jumped with his hands out to gain height. The keeper then ran across and jumped into Terry's arm.

If terry had moved his arm down to block the keeper, then you'd be absolutely right. But if you look at the vids closely, his eyes never look away from the ball, so he is therefore unable to see the keeper coming, and is making absolutely no attempt to impede him.

crackpot buddy i appreciate your little research on the subject.but you see the goalie jumped a bit later than terry(and much later than campbell)so there was no other scenario going to happen unless he getting stucked under terry's arm wich was open to maintain balance,height.he had no intention to charge the goalie down.

its like somebody throwing himself under your feet and say hey this guy ran over me!you couldnt help it could you.

its possible the goalie decided to have it look like what you've said.thats the only option he had to interfere with the upcoming goal.

The goalie jus looks pathetic in that little video clip, hehe, he wasn't going anywhere! Oh well, we're out and have had a few days to recover, hehe, thats football.

So who's left? Portugal, Greece, Holland, and either Czech or Denmark...
