Hey all,

Till say, 6 months ago i was using some p2p dload programs and that s**ck big time. Why? run ad-aware, spybot or norton. So, 6 months ago i started with usenet and bang after a few days i knew how to use it. First i had a payserver called ástraweb. Here i payed 10 dollars for 25 gig. I dloaded a lot of goodies here without waiting and full speed. I can only remember that i dloaded *.rar files so with winrar and later on ISO Buster i had my image.

Now ill pay 6 dollar each month and have unlimitid recourses. So far so good. The only thing is that when im dloading now i have 15 files each 50 mb and when its done (all files 100%) i cant unpack them as i used to do. They aint compleet and they have extensions like *r01 etc. They are called r01 files and not rar files. Im stucked here, i only can use the dloaded MP3 files LOL

I use junkie newsgroup client and just started to learn how Newsleecher v1.0 works.

Any of you guys with some handy advise?

If a rar file is split into many parts there usually are .01 .02 and so on files and a .rar file, if not choose the .01 file-> right click-> open with...->winrar or choose program...voila

Anyway like i said, i did not have any problems with the rar files. With winrar i made bin and or cue files and after that i used ISO Buster to open the bin or cue files. The only thing is that i cant use winrar on these files and i dunno what other program i can or should use.

actually kacsperski just told you what it is....if you missing one of the rar parts you won't be able to open them. to think of that you actually paid for some unfinish leeching....

true, i understand that. It just that i never had any problems with astraweb, now i use eweka and the problems starts.... any of you using newsleecher v 1.0?

man, I hate these leechers, you always have someone from the competition erasing a file or two or everything :thumbup: ...why don't you get in a Torrent community?
