Song is driving me insane

The Liquid Spear Waltz

This song sounds very familiar. Same basic piano bass line going and some of the high stuff is similar. I've heard this tune before, except the higher notes were sung by someone. The lower notes were still by piano though. Please tell me what the song is called and who sings it.

The only possibility I have right now is Hot Rod Circuit and I'm highly doubting that.

I founds it. It's called 'pheurton skeurto' by sunny day real estate. It's awesome. And I know that that song is from Donnie Darko. It sounds similar to 'pheurton skeurto'
