What is up with the site now?

Since you moved your site, I have this kick-butt ping to your new location in only like 13 hops.

But why does it take like a minute for the site to load, or sometimes can't even be found, and 1-2 minutes to change forum topics.

I think it has something to do with the ad banners, but obviously, that is a pretty blind guess.

Although she's not a kitty anymore. But she gave birth to 3 kittens a couple of weeks ago so the house is full 'o cats

I've got the same problem here, but since I'm not personally responsible for hosting contracts (mr hiv is) I can't really yell at them or anything.

Anyway, in the meantime I've found that using my ISP provided proxy server for IE really helps A LOT. So if you've got any proxy servers that your ISP provides for you (or 'auto-configurating' scripts), turn them on and you might get better loading speeds. And I'll try my best to get hiv off his fat ass and fix the problem

our coders have been working on it, because the last days we've had some seriously high load averages on the box. I'm not 100% how much is left to fix at the moment, but at least it's being worked on

Maybe there is some Problems with the DataBase cause i had some SQL problems when I try to Connect

Today the site seem fast, I really have no clue what is wrong with them. They supposedly upgraded the lines and after that we had the slowest week ever. If you wonder, yes, we're considering changing host yet another time
