Unfortunate in some cases, fortunate in others. Too many active members can actually turn forums into a screaming match. It's a bit tedious to drop by a forum, and find that the topic you started an hour ago is now located on page 23 with 48 replies. It also makes it difficult for new members to become accepted into "the fold", simply because there is no fold, it's all one, big mass of names.

And don't forget the lurkers, they're all around you......Watching, waiting.........Biding their time until you're at your most vulnerable, then striking you with blinding speed and accuracy before sinking back into the depths, leaving you with the burning question: Where the heck did THAT come from?!?!?!
