Ok I just saw a Bollywood movie...

So I was in the pub 'till 1am ejoying some drinks and after I came home I turned the tv on.
Because I am a lazyass I didn't bother to zap through and pick something ok.

So this bollywood flick was running FOR LIKE 177 minutes! It was hilarious and sad the same time.
It went kinda like this:
Some students at a college (the actors were like 25-30 years old) do college stuff. Rahul's best friend was this girl Anjali. The principals daughter (Tina) then came from London back home (wherever this home is). Then, Rahul falls in love with Tina BUT (now it gets kinda tricky) Anjali loved Rahul, too.
At this time, the story fast forwarded about 10 years.
Rahul picked Tina, had a daughter with her and here I missed something because I got me some beer but his wife was suddenly gone, lol.
So Rahuls daughter finds something out about Anjali (the daughters name was Anjali too, confused me multiple times) and contacted her and in the end brough her and Rahul (her father) together and they were happy.

So that wouldn't be too bad, I have seen worse (story like)

The thing was: The actors were sooooo bad it was ridiculous. The costumes never matched the scene and the actors and all of a sudden ALL PEOPLE started singing and dancing with no particular reason. Plus, they spoke Indish most of the time but then again, there are alot english words and phrases in there. The story could be told in like 80 minutes but they choose to make the flick 177 minutes. The music was pop-ish with indish influences as far as I can tell, i laughed quite a bit.

i absolutely hate all this bollywood teahat, dunno about the rest of the world but us brits have been cursed by "become a bollywood star" style programs and its sandpapering insane how people watch this teahat we dont make them watch americanised movies do we? or do we

yeah, the germans got out of controll with these curry shows...especially ARTE....which isn't even really german....
