I think I am going to sue Starforce

I read today that the supreme court upheld a lawsuit against phillip morris for 80m! This is the reason form the judge:
"Philip Morris knew that smoking caused serious and sometimes fatal disease, but it nevertheless spread false or misleading information to suggest to the public that doubts remained about the issue," the court said.

Well, if you can sue for misleading or false information, then it should be no problem for me to sue SF for 10 mil. They constantly say that thier software does no wrong ever. When in fact, it does. I spent most of yesterday formatting my pc because after I unistalled SF, my computer couldnt recognize the 2 disc drives and just kept restarting itself. It wouldnt even go into safe mode cause of that. So needless to say, I had to format my disc twice cause of this.

Now, SF can say thier software does not cause harm all they want, but myself and others know this is bullshit. So, I am going to sue them. America is a great place to live. (maybe I should sue Ubisoft as well since it was one of thier games that had that on there)

Which game? I had SF plenty of times on my comp but never had a prob uninstaling it...unlike
some sad saps I know who had to reinstall win twice because he installed the game twice. The
game was DTM2 i think....but I try to collect a list of SF protected games....


PS: hard to prove that SF fornicateed up your comp after it's fornicateed up.

It's like the Soundblaster thingy that blew your hardware...but Creative was smart enough to have
the disclamer that it doesn't hold any warrently for damaged HWs when using their products....hrhrhr...

It was teh Heroes of Might and Magic 5 beta And you can find a list of games that use starforce rather easily. The main ones are Ubi and Codemasters

I read that last week. Tis why I want to sue those idiotic ppl. I find it funny sf going the way of the riaa and it will just make ppl hate them more than they do already. Well, with the exception of some of the morons on the Ubi forums who seem to think just because sf does nothing to their puter it has no ill affect on someone elses. Douche bags!
