Muslim cartoon thing

I'm getting fairly depressed about the state Islam is getting into now within the world. I'm just an average Muslim in the UK, and I'd like to think I know a fair bit about my religion. So this being just the latest fiasco where 'Media Muslims' as I call them, show again how racist and angry and retarded and totally devoid of any of the teachings of Islam they can be, makes me lose all hope for the public image of Islam and religion in general.

9/11, 7/7, palestine, iraq, iran, Abu Hamza the latest of muslim clerics jailed for preaching hate and death in the UK, and now these racist protests against the Danish cartoons of Mohammed. Who are these 'Muslims'?? Certainly none of the hundreds of Muslims and several Imams I've met and know well during my life attending mosques all over the north of England. They seem to outnumber us in the media anyway.

I've seen the cartoons, they're one man's interpretation of current events, and they're probably fair considering what's been happening in the world. Obviously I would like to ask him a few things, but I'm not easily offended and I would rather send him a quiet e-mail than go out on to the streets with banners saying 'Slay all non-Muslims' as would most Muslims. I mean can't these media muslims see the irony in their actions? They want Islam to be respected, yet they want to kill all non-muslims. Where the fornicate does it say that in the Quran anyway? I've read it several times and I didn't see that. What it does say is fight oppression (not necessarily in a physical way), but live and let live if no-one is directly threatening you, ie with a knife to your throat. That's a principal most people share, inc Tony and Georgey.

Well, its getting hard to convince people nowadays that my religion isn't anything to do with what these media muslims get up to, since they're numbering so many. I dont even blame the media anymore, I mean these things happened, you cant even spin these storys, and why would you show an article about 'Muslim guy saves Christian/Jewish guy's cat' or whatever. But I'll carry on being Muslim, despite the nose dive these other so called muslims insist on making Islam take.

Good to see an actuall Muslims take on this. I would hope most ppl that read my piss and moan about this know that not all Muslims are like the ones blowing up embassys

I beleive that in the eary days of islam mohammed had a vision and the word went out for the good
but like most religions even christians theres always a few that ruin it 4 the others

in genesis 16:11 it says

" you shalt bear i son named ishmael, his hand will be against every man and every mans hand against him"

sounds like its coming true now wouldnt you say?
there are many placers in the bible that talks about a final war in the future, not the russians or yanks or chineese but it will be with the arabs and jews other countries will choose a side and some will join in
but the end will be between brother against brother

i guess what i am trying to say is that its going to get worst....sorry

if they get upset about a cartoon now i can only imagine a nightmare coming if someone rubs them the wrong way and they have a nuke in the basement .
This is why most countries dont want iran having one cause they are to unstable.
