The vast majority of Muslims would have liked to have sorted this whole mess in a civilised manner. Since the London bombings we have worked hard to repair the damage to both communities here in the UK. The printing of these cartoons hasn`t helped. I believe in freedom of speech, but when European governments are forever touting this new catchword "Multicultural Society" we should show some respect for each others religious laws and beliefs.
I have a few Muslim friends, and they have expressed dismay and sadness that the Muslims are being blamed for the senseless violence by the "Extremists" I idolise my Muslim friends for staying calm and collected about it. The Extremists are waging a war of hate against Isreal, The West and Christianity and they are being funded and supported morally by their own governments: Syria, Palestine and Iran to name a few.

As a footnote: My local paper carried an article about a school headmistress who wants to ban Hot-Cross buns because she doesn`t think they fit into a "Multicultural Society". A district councillor wanted to ban Christmas lights in towns because "..they don`t fit into a Multicultural Society". How the hell can you have a "Multicultural Society" when you`re stopping the host nation from practicing their religious ceremonies. :Oo:

personally i've seen the cartoons they arent so bad. people just need to learn that this sort of shit happens in the world and they cant get so bent out of shape about it.....also im wondering y muslims are pointing fingers at america....hello? denmark is in europe its not the 51st state in the U.S

What makes me laugh is , whatever country pisses them off and they have a protest, theres always someone there with an anti israel sign, or a picture of bush, wheather its american, dutch, france, eskimoes

BTW I'm not American, I come from a country which saved its jews in WWII (Bulgaria). I have a friend from my cildhood whose family moved to Israel and he did his military service there. I have great respect for your army. It might as well be the best trained army in the world (I wish girls in Bulgaria had to go through military training too ) But the fact is: you guys are in the middle of the arabic world. They could come with a stone and a stick each and they'd keep coming long after you are out of bullets. The biggest guarant of Israili souvereignity is the US - not your army (nukes or no nukes).

I don't think so. Violence has a funny way on whiplashing back to you. If all this money shot and launched against the enemy had been put to use in educating them, we wouldn't have to worry too much about terrorism now. Ignorance, violence and hate is what create terrorists.

True... Bulgaria was an ally of Germany. Bulgaria also switched sides the moment Germany invaded Russia. We have always had great relations with Russia... the only time they "invaded" us was when they came to drive the turks away and help us restore our country. Anyways we like our jews just as much as we like any Bulgarian citizen.

OK you didn't go to that extent, but you just reminded me of all those times jews accuse people of antisemitism and shit. It starts to look like the racist stuff black people are pulling off in the US... they themselves being the biggest racists of all. I've lived in Germany for 2 years and I've seen quite a few jews acting like pinched old virgins whenever someone hints to their jewish background.

Israel can defend itself? What part of "The arabs would overrun you if they had the chance" didn't YOU understand? I mean it's one thing being proud of your country and your military power, and another thing learning to look the truth in the eye. (Hint - Check the population numbers). And the arabs don't have much love for you anyaways... not since you occupied Palestine in 1967... and especially not after you shot an old man in a wheelchair with a missile in front of a mosque.

Only God can save Israel? This is my God also and I have trust in Him (This is also the Muslims' God but that's a different story), but how about not making him have to "save" Israel but trying to find a way to live with your neighbours in peace, so that you are not threatened at all...
