Some of us live within it, some of us live in the middle section just enough not to be noticed, and there are others that live way outside of it. Well beyond the realm of what is right and wrong. The self proclaimeded above the law persons. And no, not Steven Segal. :P

You all should know whom I am referring to. The MPAA and the RIAA. These guys have went well beyond the extent of the law. It seems that they get to write the laws these days all in the name of protecting IPs(intelectual properties) and copyright. I am all for giving the maker their due but, there should be a limit as to what these douche bags can do! Suing dead ppl, harrassing 12 year olds and ppls without a puter, hiring private investigators to search thru the garbage of the torrent site executives, etc.. The last one is the worst.

How low do you possibly need to go to prove a point? The bullying tactic was not bad enough for them so they apparently decided to get ppl to dig thru the trash of torrent sites to make their point. These guys are just sleazy and it shows more everyday!

And notice it is not mainly the game pirates they go after(or publisize at least) it is just the music and the movies as they think movies/music is that important. Games are much more interactive and entertaining than these drab movies or cookie cutter music will ever be!

I have a buttload more to say but, I wont. Cause I have things to do but, I will finish this. As long as the riaa/mpaa doesnt make a law to stop me

This is kinda on the same subject. AUS bans Resivoir Dogs game. As pointed out in manya news posts, Aus only has a rating for games up to MA 15+ even though their movies go up to 18 which constitutes adults. So, they give the game a RC (regused classification) but yet you can go rent the movie its based on without question and I am guesing without and ID.

This has gotta make ya wonder. how the hell can you rent or buy a movie that is way more violent than any animated video game and not get to play the game? I know US lawmakers have gone off the deep end about games but, we still can get them!
An all out ban is gettin close to nazism! Ok, I might be stretching it a bit but still. It should not be up to the government or Jack Thompson to tell us what is too violent for us or our kids! It should be up to us and the parents. Aus banned Marc Ecos game for Heavens sake! What do they think kids are going to do, go paint grafitti on the natives? Sheesh! God knows they need to paint dont drink this shit on Fosters!

I wouldnt be surprised if the Aus gov was talking to China on a massive firewall. Overreacting morons. Word!

I think censorship is the worst form of ignorance. If people don't allow the opportunity to see different things, they will never be able to make their own choices and will have a hard time distinguishing right from wrong.
