Delay Piss and Moan

The dev kit issue is originated from the first few versions, that's been solved now and is old news. The gta4 issue comes from the 360 you support so in a way you are responsible for the delay you are bitching about. you hypocrite

Of course players don't want to change discs, what crap would come out of that? After turning your car into 43rd street insert disc 2 and then continue to 44th street and insert disc 4 there? That's ridiculous and you know it. The 360 is just a mass marketed malfunctioning badly designed piece of shit and this is yet another fact that surfaces.

First most of the 360's break down, then they get the crazy notion you have to pay to be online (why anyone who defends free gaming and downloads on GH defends the 360 as the only console with that horrible system is beyond me) and then it turns out that high definition gaming actually requires space. Get your head out off Gates ass and turn off MTV which displays their marketing all the time and get a good look at the facts instead of defendingh a console which has been a huge loss from day one.

The dev kit issue is still an issue! Ppl stil bitch about that! The delay of GTA 4 is in NO WAY related to the 360! You said it yourself: the 360 is just some rehashed version of the first! Ok, it wasnt those exact words but, it was something like that. If the 360 is not that far off from the original Xbox, what the hell is the hold up? They both use dvds as the main source. Sure the 360 is amped up a bit but, nothing any dev needs to get his/her panties in a bunch over. On the other hand we have the PS3! The ps2 had dvd and the ps3 has blu ray and then some stupid extra chip that two devs have figured out how to write for! And not very well mind you!

Delays suck! There is no two ways about it and in the case of GTA, I will blame Sony!

If you ask me, if it IS a 360 problem, that shouldn't delay the release for the consoles that the game is ready for. That would be a stupid excuse for not releasing it to the ones it is already set to go for.

Pff, dev's bitch about anything that takes time and effort. It costs money and resources and that means the bosses will have to buy a less expensive car. Next gen means next gen and the 360 doesn't deliver on that point. Sure it seems to do so but as time goes on more and more of it's flaws become apparent and the lack of space on the double layer dvd is the next in line.

Sure you can blame Sony, but as I stated with facts instead of unfounded assumptions as you did it isn't the case. Good thing the PS3 and Wii are outselling the 360 all over the place and 360 are overheating at a faster pace then the hartrate of a fat man after climbing some stairs

Contracts are the answer to that question. Both MS and Sony have contracts with Rockstar so the game gets released on both platforms at the same time so you can't draw any conclusion from that.

I understand the need for contracts and Rockstar wanting to get the game out on both systems at the same time. I really do! However, if it is already done for one system, release the damn thing! No one wants to wait for a game to come out because it is supposed to hit two systems at the same time!! That is insane! A month I could possibly understand but six? WHere is the sense in that? Sony is suckin hind tit at the moment anyway. Who cares if PS3 owners have to wait for GTA4 a little longer than 360 owners? This is the way things work! If we all had to wait for games to come out at the same time on every platform, we would all be screwed faster than a hooker at a navy bar!

I say we let Sony and RS work it out and in the meantime, release the damn game on the 360 as it has a bigger install base than the PS3 does(at the moment). Shit, we are all used to release now patch later! What the hell is the difference now? Fuck the delays, let me play!

than a Delay is a Bug-ridden game. I wish all the Developers and
Publishers would just attempt to hold themselves to a Higher Standard.
Maybe all of these delays and substandard games would then go away :-)

The 360 might melt your carpet and require replacing every 3 months, but at least its affordable and has a good catalog of games. Instead of trolling every 360 thread, why don't you go and play all those lovely next-gen games on your PS3...

... Oh yeah thats right, you can't. They don't come out until next year! Wow I bet you can't wait for all those DX9 standard GFX and plethora of sequels. Maybe whilst you wait you can play around with the free online service and look at the trailers and there is always those thousands of hi-def movies to pass the time! Oh yeah... thats right, there are hardly any!

Ohhhh! That is never going to happen cause no matter if devs/publishers delay the game, there will be something wrong with it! Might as well release the damn thing with bugs to let the public find the problems so they can patch it! I really don't think delays are due to the game not being done so much as the publishers, like MS and Sony, wanting them released at a certain time. I am guessing EA does the same bullshit as Spore has been delayed til 08 even though it looks like it is ready to play!

Maybe it has to do with the massive holiday line up and they all want to wait so they can make money. Even if that is the case, hardly anyone releases an anticipated game in the spring/summer. They are all reserved for the holiday season cause that is when they think they can make the most money.

As much as I bitch about the PS3, I really dont think that is the problem. I think it is the devs wanting more money and that equals game releasing on every console it can. Which in turn, screws us! (the gamer)

As far as I am concerned all the devs need to get their shit together and release the best possible game they can on the platform they can with a quickness! All this delay crap is just retarded!

i think the main annoyance is that they put out a release date when they obviously aren't capable of actually meeting it. Overall though, I think I can stand bugged games as long as a patch is made that actually corrects the problems (gears of war).
