Welp, the problem is that some people are either agonstics or atheists (like me for example&#33

). And the problem is that I don't want to see that stuff in a city hall - as it's supposed to be a place for EVERYONE, not for people of ONE specific religion. It doesn't offend me, I wouldn't give a rat's ass about it actually, but some atheists or agnostics don't like to have religious attributes shoved in their face. And what if there are muslims, buddhists or wiccans that live in that city? I'd say it'd probably offend their feelings....

IMHO religion should be kept to homes and religious establishments, eg: churches, mosques, synagogues, altars, and so on... But not work or public places where people of different religion (or lack of thereof) meet on daily basis.

Hell yeah! After going on a 8 month trip to Europe and getting my ass back to Canada I've discovered that American cigs cost now $7,50 + 14% tax, whilse they cost only around $6 + tax when I left... WTF? I don't give a damn about some old people smoking all their lives despite the warning signs and then suing companies... "Look at me, I was a moron and forgot to read the warning signs because they were too small for me to read and waste my time on anyways, even though I held a cigarette pack in my hands on a daily basis!" GAH! I soooo fell like bashing them with a hammer or something really heavy of that sort

Ok I suppose you could be right about the 10 commandment thing, after all to each his own. But, I do stil have a huge freakin problem with some ppl wanting to take "one nation under God" out of the Pledge of Allegiance! That really burns my ass!

On the cigrette thing again,,,can anyone tell me why it is such an outrage to advertise smokes?? I did'nt start smoking because of a camel or a cowboy! It was freinds that did it! They advertise beer constantly..and you see drunk drivers on the news every damn day. It is not societies right to tell me what is good for me! That is why we all have parents!

Marlboro Lights - Smooth smokin stress releivers. Also great when havin a beer, coffee, or after sex!

I'm not really against smoking, my wife smokes, in fact.

But riddle me this: Why should my hard earned tax dollars pay to treat you for a self inflicted disease?
