What is in your opinion the best soundtrack in a game from one of the old consoles?

My favourite has got to be Streets of Rage 2. :thumbup:

Streets of Raage had some funky ass music for its time. Yuzo Koshiro did so most of the top tracks back then.
All time fav has to be outrun - Magical shower (or whatever its full name was) as i spent so much time on the arcade machine i stuck with me. 1 of those tunes you'll never forget.

Revenge of Shinobi is by Yuzo Koshiro too. That has some excellent tunes in it! :thumbup:

Then there was Toejam & Earl,,,, that game was based around audio. So simple, yet so addictive.

Yeah we shall have to have a game of that sometime. I like the 2nd one too, its a great coop platformer with some great gfx to go with the sounds.
