As most of you may have read the War front: turning point beta test has just started. I personally enjoy these types of games and decided I wanted to join the betatest. Full of joy I clicked the link to find out that I first had to subscribe to f***planet with an paid account to participate.

This really pisses me off :rant: . Why the f*cking hell would you want people already dumb enough to pay for news and demo's, they could also get for free to test your game? Seriously, how dumb is that...aren't places like Gamespy and Gamespot and all just filled with desperate idiots who pay for "ad-free" fast downloads that are provided free on the developersite and sites like GH already? Why the hell would you want these idiots judging your game, can someone please answer that?

Well I think its stupid to have to pay to beta test anything, directly through a developer/publisher or indirectly through f***planet.

let the morons that pay for FP think they are god's gift to gaming....
the dev's might just release demo's in the future & try to pass them off as full games (ala HL2: EP1) & tell you that in order to play you must have a one year subscription to a site like FP & put in all your "Real" details + give a hair & blood sample :dennis:

f***planet is crap...Gamespot aint that bad though...I like how they do the tournaments and all the stuff they give away.

They don't give stuff away. You as the customer pay an certain amount and a small percentage can be won back by spending countless hours practising. In that time you could have worked and made way much more to buy even cooler stuff and save the GS subscription
