Hello! I'd really appreciate some help with getting my Postal 2 to work on my new computer.

The topic title explains what's the problem. So does someone know howto fix it?

    Thanks in advance

I don't know if it's supposed to or not, but it doesn't There's no official patch, either.

You could always try running it in compatibility mode windows xp.

If that doesn't work you can always dualboot, postal 2 is worth that

    Computer:
    Intel Q6600 B3 | CM2X-6400C4 x4 (4gb) Ram | Seagate 500GB | Point Of View Geforce 8800GTX | Samsung 226BW 22"

I've tried to do all the logic things that you'd try to do before seeking help but what is dual-boot?

Dual boot means running 2 operating system's on one computer, this means you can choose whether to go on xp or vista when booting your pc.

    Postal 2 rocks

I wouldn't stricky use Vista just yet and a dualboot of XP and Vista is a smart thing to do. Better yet using XP is.

I never really liike Postal 2, the humor was great but the game was bleh for me.

Good to know ;) Well I like it and I want to play it. Doesn't anyone know howto fix it? My friend said that somehow should I "trick" Postal to think that it's on a XP system.

You may need to run the actual setup/install program in
Windows XP compatibility mode and set the actual game
exe to compatibility mode. After that I would try different
    video and then sound drivers.

Is it even possible to run the setup/install in XP compatibility mode?
