Linux desktops ussually look the best! What distro and desktop is that btw? I suppose the GUI is not KDE or Gnome, the distro is obviously not (K)Ubuntu, SuSe, Debian or Fedora.

BTW, I will soon post my Ubuntu desktop

Here is my XP desktop, I won't post my laptop's since that Vista stuff is too ugly (even after removing that "circus" on the right).

I like my icon sorting system a lot, and the portals (with the white arrow in a green field) are a great manner to quickly acces my study materials folders and my "other" documents. If MS doesn't do the UI design then I will do it

Gazz, could you please make sure you are using thumbnails for your pics, or else resize them? Your post is ruining this page :S

Anyway here is my refreshed Ubuntu 9.04 desktop (the third pic shows the music programme "Rythmbox"):



Linux/BSD users that are having Gnome desktops can download that theme here: Grey and Green GNOME-Look.org
But I hope you (i.e. Gnome users) are not too critical in this case, because it is actually the first theme that I publish. And sorry for the rather unpractical installation procedure.
