Legend: Hand of God Contest

Yes, I have another contest for you lucky people! Thanks to the nice people over at Master Creating, I have five copies of Legend: Hand of God (PC) and a Logitech G9 Laser mouse to give away! I wanted to keep the mouse and a copy of the game for myself but, they wouldn't let me.



Legend: Hand of God is an action/RPG and it is really fun. I have been playing the demo all day which you can find here and if you would like to know more about the game or look at trailers and screen shots the official website can be found here.

All you have to do to enter is tell me, in this thread, if you could be any god throughout history for one day, what would you do?

There will be five winners:

1rst place wins a copy of the game and the mouse
2nd - 5th win a copy of the game

if i would be a god for one day, i would make everything free in the whole world, i hate screaming about money, all those fights and wars.. almost every argument is about money.. and games will be free! ofcourse every nice thing we can get free is a good step forward

I've had plenty of time to think about this (and Nxs knows why XD ), so I've already got an idea of who I'd be and what I'd do. The game interested me the second they compared it to Diablo (I'm an oldschool Diablo junkie), but the real clincher was the mouse. My old MX1000 can't hold a charge for the most part anymore and requires daily charging, and the G9 is one of the mice I've been looking at to replace it.


Benzaiten, one of the Seven Lucky Gods (or "Seven Gods of Fortune" depending on the translation) in Japanese history/folklore that's the goddess of knowledge, art and beauty. It took me some time because there were a few others I was interested in, but she came out on top due to the fact that she encompasses three things I find interesting.

As for what I'd do for that one day, I'd have to fill a bunch of the slightly more moronic people's heads w/ so much knowledge that they explode in some kind of logical paradox. Especially a few senators and world leaders....

Dionysus - God of wine, parties/festivals, madness and merriment. You dont need money if theres a rockin good time goin on. With enough wine(or any booze) and a great party everyone feels immortal. Think of the best times of your life, now imagine being able to spread that happiness to everyone in the WORLD! Thats what it means to be a god.

If i was a god there are many things I would do and change, here is my list of Must do's.
I would adopt the deeds of the Goddess of Plenty "Goddess Laksmi".

1. Make one World Goverment for all with a member from each country.
2. Make it a law that all Houses must have at least One "Modern" PC in working order 24/7
3. Make it law that all schools award PC games to all good performance students on a weekly basis.
4. All employees must give a game with every paycheck
5. All games will be made free and those that perform well get all their taxes reimbursed plus GST taxes etc back.
6. Reduce school and Business attendences by half and enable all them to do their school or work from thier own home on PC. Labour type workers get double pay.
7. Every Friday and Saturday is to be a party 24 hrs a day, paid for by the goverment.
8. Ban consumer Oil and establish Electric cars and Solar power on a world scale.
9. All lawbreakers will be locked away for 5 -10 years depending on the crime and then forced to play The Sims (#1) for a minimum of 6 hours a day.
10. All guns will be given away for free, but all ammunition will cost a minimum of $20 000 a shell.



That should get the ball rolling, but there is lots more in my list.

The more powerful and ancient gods tend to be, the more useless, lazy and seemingly pointless they become. So, I'd be Cthulhu - a huge green thing with huge feet with which to squish humans and fearsome claws and tentacles to rip them apart.

If I was God for the day I would temporarily stop all religions and faiths and replace every place of prayer and place of religious significance on the entire planet with a gold statue of my penis. If my followers pray hard enough my gold penis statues would release a special population paste that increases fertility and wellbeing... with the added bonus of being a nutritious snack filled with plenty of protein. I would offer crackers and special absorbent t-shirts to my followers so they could save the population paste for later or send to third world countries, which would help eradicate starvation issues in one go.

If i was god for one day i would do nothing because even if you change the world, people always thinks it can be better. So i would just relax and let them deal with their lives without interfering

If I would be God for a day i would end all bad things in the world , sit back and relax and watch people mess it up again in a short time.
