Default GCL: 160 GB PS3, new PSP 3000 and Play tv (which is suprisingly cool)

Theres a gameconvention in Europe. Here's a brief summary and I hope to find some info on new pc game releases later on. Nintendo is not present there and MS has yet to do their presentation I think.

    New PSP model:

Better screen, supposedly better piracy protection and a microphone inside.

    PS3 160 GB:
Well, A PS3 with a 160 GB HDD. No real suprises there other then that it will have the same price as older models with a smaller HDD and comes with Uncharted and a voucher for pain. A pricecut in some form. Just so you know, I personally installed a 7200 rpm in my PS3 and it's a faster booter then the original PS3 drive which is 5400 rpm (gosh Gazz, what a suprise)

    Playtv:
Now this one is pretty cool, A extremely small vcr capable of taping a channel in 1080 (fw upgrade to come soon) while watching another channel at the same time. In hd quality ofcourse.

    * important note, this vcr is still 3 times bigger then Kamisorix's his penis.

And to think i still use a very old PSP1000 which is fat and without a home button.
I'm also beginning to think the psp will have some of the ps3's features with the home button instead of a psp button. Maybe Ingame XMB hmmhmm, combine that with a friendslist, yay!

I did hear it's going to be possible to stream content recorded with that VCR onto your PSP. Ingame XMB has been rumoured for some time on PSP. I'd expect an announcement at the Tokyo gameshow, since the PSP sells like hotcakes there at the moment even surpassing the huge succes of the DS and Wii. Then again, everyone in Japan already has a DS I imagine, so the DS market is most likely saturated.

Difference between the old and new model. A comparison in the dark would have been more objective though, but this pic is all we have to go on for now!

    IN WAY MORE INTERESTING NEWS!!!!

Sony Japan just announced a deal with Fon to allow all PSP owners free acces to the fon network Source (in dutch unfortunatly, other choice was in Japanese): Sony Japan geeft PSP-bezitters gratis toegang tot Fon-hotspots | Mobile | Tweakers.net Nieuws
Japanese (poorly translated in Engllish by Google): Translated version of http://www.jp.playstation.com/info/release/nr_20080822_pspfon.html

I expect the rest of the world to follow shortly....

Well, you don't "need" it, but I guess it would allow you to receive more free stations then just the ones offered trough PSN or your cable provider. Still, you'd get enough trough cable or the internet I assume.
