I have not bitched in a while so, I thought I would today. I know you are all thrilled.

There is one thing that has really started to piss me off lately. The damn watermarks on ever damn channel!

It was one thing when most people didn't have cable and the box didn't tell you what channel you were watching but, now it is different. Everything is digital and the cable boxes, for the most part, tell you what the channel is when you go there. Is it really necessary to have some big ass gold H like the History channel does or the constant lopez tonight watermark on tbs every damn night?

The answer is no!

I don't care about lopez tonight and I don't need a big ass reminder on the screen while I am watching Family Guy every fucking night and I sure as hell don't need a giant gold H with words above it telling me what I am watching on the history channel.

How hard is it to make them transparent or just let them sit there for 30 seconds and then get rid of them?

Whoever thought this shit up needs to be fired!!!!!!

I will bitch about smoking again just because it has been banned in bars and gambling clubs where I live this week.

I really really want to sue them. How can this possibly be legal?

Just because they don't like it should not me that the local business men can't determine what is good for their business'! It should be a choice, not a law!

How hard can it be to put a sign up outside a bar saying we allow smoking or not?

This is supposed to be America dammit! Telling people what they can and cannot do is more like Iran. Well, not really. They can still smoke there without getting hanged.

I haven't had much trouble with watermarks per say, but I do have massive irritations about something very similar.

I like watching Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations", it's an awesome show to see what things other cultures eat without having to watch the personality go gaga over the McDonalds over there. But I seriously hate the damn advertisements for other shows they occasionally show at the bottom of the screen, which frequently cover up subtitles as people are talking! Why is it that you think it's necessary to put ads for your other shows anywhere other than the damn commercial brakes like other networks?!

Comedy Central does that when they run more than one episode of Futurama. After one show is over, the have the credits from the last show cover the little caption from the next!
