The Red Solstice - a new and innovative isometric shooter
Hello people of gamershell.com forums,
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to a brand new, completely independent game development team from Croatia and their soon to be released game:
The complete description of the game, screenshots, artwork, storyline summary, team info and much more information can be found at the official website: www.theredsolstice.com
We hope you will find the content and the game interesting, join the forums to discuss various aspects of the revealed eye candy, and eventually join us in battle for survival once the game is released.
The in-house alpha testing of the multiplayer portion of The Red Solstice is on the way. www.theredsolstice.com was already updated with some in-game screenshots a few times.
Expect to see some more very soon.
1. In this game, there is no pause, something like left4dead and killing floor, monsters just keep on coming and coming.
2. Classes have been created in a way that every member of the squad will feel equally important if he want's too, players can choose to be heroes and do great deeds and achivements, and other players will notice that, unlike in other multiplayer games where your contribution is not noticed or it's noticed very little(MMO games)
3. Forget about having enough ammo, if you run out of ammo you die, that encourages constant moving and exploration through huge map
4. 1 game session lasts around 1h, imagine a game like dota, but totally focused on survival versus zombies, and each game is entierly different due to randomized missions and events.
So basicaly if we do this correctly, the fun will never stop, and the game will never stop being fun when you keep on playing with good friends, leading them into battle, and sacrificing yourself to win the game, and even enjoying in that sacrifice when you manage to save entire team of players.
This game encourages cooperation, individuality, heroism, sacrifice, tactics.
I tried to answer as best as i could, hope i helped There is a lot more but i think i summed it up nicely.
It's been some time since we last posted here, but rest assured the progress is still being made as scheduled.
This time, we need to ask you, the audience, for some help. We launched an Indiegogo campaign (crowdsourced funding platform similar to Kickstarter) with a minimum of $1 in donations. $15 will get you the game itself once it's finished and it hits the shelves, and there are many more reward to choose from
Even liking/following our campaign on facebook/twitter/google+ (the buttons under the main video on the campaign page) will help a lot and will be appreciated.
