3DS Friend Code: 5455-9547-5483
Club-Nintendo
August 4th 2011
So, I recently bought a 3DS and registered myself at Club-Nintendo.
I'm not the club thingy type but I thought I would get something for it(like a free downloadable game).
Well, I didn't really got anything except some stars.
Unlike Achievement points on XBL or Trophies on PSN, which are useless in themself, you can trade the
"Star-Points" in for some goodies. I mean real goodies like statues or just some simple stuff like playing
cards or wiimote holder.
seeing that I had like only around 2000 points for the 3DS and some games I was way to short for the
real sweets like the Super Mario Character Figures, which runs for 7k or the Zelda figurine(Link on a horse)
which runs for an impressive 15k.
And then I went nuts:
I started to get all my WII stuff and looked for codes to register.

Today I went to a Videogame store where my friends are working and like a cheap Jew I started to look
through ALL the used games that still had unused codes in them. back home I started to type them in
and fill out the mandatory form to complete the registrations. And i found out that there are expiration
dates for the codes. So about 2/3 of all the codes i hoarded where...dead >
For each game you get about 250 points. some downloadable stuff from the eShop are automatically
registered but I'm not sure if you get any Points for them. Unfortunately I missed the opportunity for the
Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Soundtrack CD, which was out of print by the time i entered the code
That game I actually bought so i felt cheated and even more inspired to go code hunting to get some
free goods from Big N XD
Now I got about 5600 Points.
One thing pisses me off: I'm from Germany and the stuff you get from the German Club is far weaker than
the US one. It almost feels like the German goodies are leftovers of the US store which couldn't get rid of
them. But there are still some stuff I really like and have mentioned earlier. And some stuff that were
rewards for Platinum Status members in US are regular rewards in Germany, which I find much better since
I'm not the Status kinda guy. I don't even know how to get Platinum Status. In Germany we get Star-Points
In the US ya get Coin-Points. I thought they were the same but apparently they ain't.
But here are some things i want:
Super Mario Character Figures 7000p (only for Platinum Status in US)
Limited Link and Epona Statue based on Twilight Princess game 15000p LOL!! (not availible in US afaik)
Hanafuda Cards 2500p (US 800p...WTF?!?)
Soundtrack "Super Mario Galaxy" (Platin-Edition) CD 4850p (not available in US afaik)
Game & Watch Collection "NOT AVAILABLE IN GERMANY" (US 800p)
Game & Watch Collection 2 "NOT AVAILABLE IN GERMANY" (US 800p)
Game & Watch™: Ball "NOT AVAILABLE IN GERMANY" (US 1200p)
Messenger Bag "NOT AVAILABLE IN GERMANY" (US 550p)
Giant Mii AR Card "NOT AVAILABLE IN GERMANY" (US 200p)
Wii Remote Holders 2500p (US 300p)
Original Nintendo Notepads 4000p (not available in US afaik)
ZELDA-Beach towel 4500p (not available in US afaik)
Nintendo Laptop-Bag 7000p (not available in US afaik)
Nintendo DSi-Sock 1000p not for ya feet but to put the DS/DSi or 3DS in XD (not available in US afaik)
Kirby Patch Set Collection "NOT AVAILABLE IN GERMANY" (US 350p)
It appears that the US coins are either more worth than the German stars or we are getting fucked over.
Either way I got a friend in the US to get me some of the US-only stuff if things work out.
Counting only the items I can get in Germany I need about 48350p. XD
will be continued...
August 6th 2011
I went to the other store where another friend of mine works and, again, I went through ALL the used DS
and Wii games. This time I checked the expiration dates on them to make sure I get only working ones.
Heck, after putting them all in I finally got up to 8900p.
I will order the the Super Mario Character Figures on Monday. Once I got it in my hands I will make some pics XD
