Yeah, so this afternoon (an hour before the Seahawks home game opener to boot) there was a pretty nasty power outage (apparently a good chunk of the town was out as well) thanks partly to the wind we got. But once it came back up, I went down to look at the news online and found that my system doesn't want to play nicey nice anymore.
Upon hitting the power button, everything spins up like it should, except I noticed the fan noise was far lower than it normally is. Pulling the side off, every fan was working fine and dandy, and I could hear the HDDs doing their thing as well, but still no picture on the monitor. With this, there's two things that could be wrong right off the bat: video card and MoBo.
If it's the MoBo, it should be under warranty still so long as Asus sells them still since it's under a year old, as is the CPU. The video card's SOL in that department though.
Any ideas? I don't have a spare card to test with, and no other AM3 CPU or board to work with either. The system was on when the power went out, but it's connected to a surge protector so it shouldn't have done a damn thing to it in that sense...
