It's snowing! Wait, now it's freezing rain... It's snowing again!
Yeah, this has been a really odd week for me... Snow on Monday, something of a lull into Tuesday evening, get dumped on with around 4"+ of snow on Wednesday morning, and then sheets of freezing rain overnight last night, and now it's snowing again...
Seriously, I think we would have been better off with just a foot of snowfall like was originally predicted as opposed to this snow-ice-snowmageddon. Trees snapping all around us (one in our neighbor's yard to our right, one across the street, god knows how many down on the roads around town), snow-covered iced-over snow, and we keep getting brownouts to boot with the power (which was off/on/off/on/off/on this morning, house was freaking 60 degrees when I woke up).
I've taken a few pics with my phone to upload, but the network's being sluggish so god knows when they'll get through to my inbox.

First one came through finally... It's my neighbor's cherry tree, which if you look closely you can see has at least one major break on it, let alone extremely low drooping branches and another branch break.

WOW. Well, previous tree is now about 30% less "tree" as a bunch of smaller branches just made a nice ring around it.

Yup, mother nature hates this state... It's stopped snowing now, but in place there's around 2" of rain coming down over the next 24 hours which will melt pretty much everything since it's now above freezing.
Oh yeah, did I mention the very high possibility of flooding thanks to all the melting snow and rainfall?
OH! And the windstorm that's coming in tomorrow!

Figure I'd post this as it's the only other pic that's come through well (still getting used to this phone's camera):

That would be the trellis my mom built a few years ago on the ground. It's not just the ice/snow that tipped it though, the thing started leaning pretty heavily when the vine planted next to it got really agressive and started yanking on it, not to mention becoming top heavy as hell...
