    Default Dungeon Hunter: Alliance (Vita)

Apparently, Dungeon Hunter: Alliance is available on the PSN for $12.99 and on the IOS for $.99, however the Vita version of the game is $39.99! In case you are wondering I read this over at Destructoid. I have to say that this seems a little on the shitty side. I am not familiar with the game, but I sure as hell know that if a game is $15 for one system and $40 for another, I will be buying the cheaper one.

I really do not understand Ubisoft lately. Hell, I don't understand the entire gaming industry right now, but it seems that Ubi is going out of their way to piss off gamers at every turn. Does it really cost that damn much to port a game to the Vita? If so, I assume selling ten games makes them a profit and will call it a success. I do understand that there may be a little difference as to how games are made for a console and handheld, but is it so much that a game you can get on the ipod for $.99 costs 40 times more for the Vita?? I just don't get it.

What kills me is that no one will give a shit and Ubi will keep on raping gamers with shit like that and horrid, monkey ball sucking DRM and come out fine cause gamers do not care about jack shit as long as they get their fix. Tis time for a beer!

Slightly off topic, but I've found it hilarious (as seen over at Penny-Arcade.com) that Sony's released games for the Vita before the dang hardware is even out yet. XD

Ubi's already on a bit of a chopping block for me... I'm not exactly the world's happiest camper about having to use GFWL, and Ubi's own irritating as hell DRM is somehow even worse than GFWL. The outage they caused by moving servers a week or so ago just displayed the problem behind their "The DRM's on or go to hell" style of PC releases as you couldn't even play a single-player game during said outages. There's no way in hell I'll give them more money for an identical gameI can get for just over half the cost of on another system.

Hey, I am with ya! Ubi is really getting bad lately. It is a really sad state when I do not want to play games due to the hoops I have to jump through to do so. I predict a game crash within a year or so due to all this online pass, every game needs its own launcher, shitty DLC, game prices that are getting out of hand, etc.. It is just getting worse by the day and Ubi is not helping in the least!
