Now, I know I bitch about smoking a lot. I do! I think it is just stupid that governments can just ban something that is legal from a bar or restaurant as I think it should be up to the owner to decide whether or not to allow smoking. However, this new law in Cali is just beyond stupid. They are telling you that cannot do a legal thing in your own home if another person shares a wall with you! Meaning that you can not smoke in your apartment, duplex, townhouse, or any other place you call home if you share a wall with another person. It is asinine!

Even though this is sorta about smoking, it is so much more than that. California and New York are getting completely out of control with their nanny state laws. They ban smoking in bars and outdoors, which is bullshit, they ban toys in happy meals also bullshit, they ban sugary drinks larger than 16oz again bullshit, and other stupid laws having to do with healthy eating and fat content. These two states are way over going way over the line here. They are basically enacting laws that they thing are good for the people that live there, but all they are really doing is taking away our freedoms. Christ, they might as well just be part of Russia or Pakistan because they are using their power to enforce laws that they think is for the greater good! It is not! When you take away peoples freedoms and the ability for a person to choose what is best for them, you are a commie! Yep! I said it. California and New York are communists and they need the shit sued out of them for taking away peoples personal freedoms and choices.

I seriously do not understand how any of those dumbshit laws these idiots pass is even legal! Are people just to wrapped up in their own lives that they can't see what is being taken away from them? And it is just going to get worse cause the people that pass these laws think they are helping. The only thing they are helping is putting America on the fast track to becoming a nanny nation where only the government knows what's best for you.
