Rumor: New SMB to be Shown at E3

According to this Neogaf post, Miyamoto gave an interview to a Spanish newspaper, El Mundo, in which he said 'Nintendo will show a new Super Mario game for the Wii U in the E3. Combining the TV screen with the tablet sreen'.

Unless there is something lost in translation here, I would say that this would be closer to fact than a rumor. Mainly because the Wii U is supposed to be out this year (I do believe) and every one of Nintendo's consoles have either launched with a Mario game or it has been very close to release. I could be wrong about that, but I don't think I am.

Gotta say though, I am very curious about this years E3 presentation from Nintendo because the Wii U will be the only console launch for about a year, assuming it does come out this year. Not to mention, I am really curious to see more of the Wii U and what it can actually do. Last year they just showed the controller basically and said nothing about the system itself. I would imagine N will be showing the bad boy off this year.

I bet it's New Super Mario Mii, the game they were showing off last year. It goes well with the 3DS version they just announced!
