Nest Review
Ya know, I love Digital Innovations and no, it is not because they send me things to review even though it is a plus. Nope, it is because they products the send me to review actually do what they are supposed to do and the Nest is no exception. What is the Nest? It is an earbud protector / earphone winder that is simple to use as well as small and flexible enough to be put in a pocket or a purse.
Now, because this is a simple product that does one thing, this will be a relatively short review because all you need to know is how it works and if does it well enough to justify a purchase. Here we go!

This is the Nest inside the package. As you can see, it is a small and simple package, which is good because you don't need a chainsaw to get it open.

I put these four images together so you can see how it works because pictures can illustrate how the Nest works better than anything I can say. As you can see in the first image, the Nest is pretty small but it doesn't really show how flexible it really is. Continuing on, turning the Nest inside out is how you get the earbuds in and to do this, you put the actual buds in the protective star part and then wind the cord around the open part of the Nest, then pop the cover back around the cord and you have what they look like put away (a.k.a. image three). To get them back out, just grab the buds and pull! Pretty nifty!
For me, the nest is just great as there are six people in my house and we all have earbuds and there are extra pairs laying in my drawer and in the kids' room so you can imagine how helpful the Nest is. To be fair though, I didn't get to use the Nest for this review except to take the pics. Two of my kids snagged them as soon as they got here and have used them ever since. My oldest daughter loves them as it fits in her purse perfectly and she does not have to deal with the cord from her earbuds getting in the way of her other crap in there. I would have had a picture of that, but seventeen year old girls really have a problem with sharing pictures of their purse for some reason. Even without the picture, the fact that she takes the Nest everywhere should be a glowing endorsement! My fifteen year old has the other one and has also been using it to keep her earbuds in. She is more of the tester for me because she actually rolls the Nest down the hallway, squishes it, bounces it off the wall with the earbuds and puts it in her pocket to see if the Nest would loose shape or break the earbuds. So far nothing she has done has broke the earbuds or got the Nest to lose its shape.
So with that being said, I am going to have to recommend Digital Innovations Nest to anyone that has lots of earbuds or just one pair and needs a place that will neatly store them. Probably should mention that you can buy them for $9.99 at http://www.digitalinnovations.com/th...protector.html and they have free shipping on them, with this code: NEST102512, until tomorrow. I might have to go buy one just so I can stop dangling my earbuds of my drawer handle where the cats can get them.

Seems like a neat design for earbud storage/management.
