Priston tale

My wife plays this game priston tale and today an update was released and when we try and load the game it auto updates but during the install of the update it errors . and the closes .
I have emailed the company but being friday I don't think I will hear back from them any time soon.

I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling with the same results as well I have tried installing it on my computer and the same thing happens here .

does anyone else here play this game that might be able to help ??

this sounds like a screwup from the developer's side to me. try checking the official/unofficial priston tale forums for similar problems, and maybe you'll find someone with specific details..

Yup it crashes on my comp too guess you'll have to wait until monday for em to fix it :mellow:

Doesnt crash on mine, but hella lag!, im waiting for them to upgrade the servers in a wekk or so

EDIT: just updated, same thing

deleted update file, tried again, same error, its definatly a dev screw up

DEV: ooo look, our servers are operating well, no lag atall today!

I haven't played it for awhile. But I just tried the update...and same thing happens. It just closes. Its the developer side.

speaking of priston tale.. i played the game for a couple of hours and my impressions werent great - you just went up and down the same hill, killing the same monsters, just to get enough xp and gold to buy new crap. does it get better once you've played a while?

Well first of all don't forget its a beta
Second of all the only quests that were implemented yet are thoses to change job quests on the tempskrons
So no actually if you are playing to try and have fun it blows as almost all beta mmorpg, if you really want to beta test it then its great a damn whole lot of bugs to find and report
Could help you get a good background for beta testing awesome upcoming mmorpgs like WoW. ;)
But anyways that's about it...

Same thing here, me, my son and his friend have all the same crash when trying to update PT. All three run OS-win XP. Here its Monaday night now and no fix presented. Only this gg-file and it did´nt resolve the updateproblem.

Hello all you PT players ive figured out how to fix the update thing,
ul have to do it by your self open the PT map then look for PSupdate, it worked for me good luck and hope it works
