Splinter cell, it was a game with its own style and with lightning that we had never seen earlier.
levels were perfect, graphics were great, the stealth thing was awesome it is GOTY as far as im concerned
a GOTY game has to have something special and unique and splinter cell have that.

silent storm is my 2'nd pick, i didnt play it to the end but also that has a unique thing and thats its physics. i have never seen such physics in such a game which is plain awesome.

After reinstalling it again, I'm seriously hooked on Raven Shield. It's utter tactical greatness is what wins it in my book.

NOTE: only the most top ranked AND highly thought of by our staff games are in this poll. Those are really THE best games of 2003, and I'm sure quite a few of them will be chosen as goty in their own categories - I guess that's what makes the choice here so tough

Where is Battlefield 1942?

I bought a PC just to play that game.

Half of those games listed are tired rehashes of older games that I didn't like in the first place

it was a close call between KOTOR and CoD but call of duty won it in the end cos i'm a WW2 game junkie

third and fourth place would go to Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six 3.
