I need to know what are some good 5.1 speakers that do not cost so much money because im already tired of these crappy creative labs speakers and the bass has flattened out.

Ah, well I got nothing to say then
Im using a Creative 5.1 surround sound, it is good, but i do not get to experience it's true potential since i only have 2.1 LOL.
They are good, at only 70 watts. I prefer atleast 250 with my stereo system![]()

i was thinking these creative labs one but then i heard the logitech and i havent heard the creative labs so i dont know....
no offense, but you shouldn't think about the wattage on pc speakers, it's just some crap certain companies use to quantify the "greatness" of their speakers. the figures they give are typically way off too, so what you should be thinking about is the physical size, how big the elements are, if the enclosure is dead (knocking on it should sound as much as possible like knocking on bricks), etc.Originally posted by milkdudman@Jun 26 2004, 04:10 AM

my recommendation would be a klipsch set (pretty expensive), or a logitech z680 or z540. I personally use a modified z680 set with my PC, and it works very well with games and such, but it's miles and miles away from my stereo. good luck choosing, but you should try and spend as much as you possibly can. it's one of the most enjoyable upgrades you can make
I recommend you choose speakers you want and then go to your supplyer![]()
and choose(maybe he can turn on them to listen,ha?)
im choosing the logitech speakers. i know logitech is very well known and i have many products of them so i decided to go with the logitech speakers (z640) heard em at bestbuy and i thought they were good so im just gonna go with those except i dont wanna pay 80 dollars so ill just order em online.
I have altec lansing 2.1 and the quality and loudness are good!
only cost me £35 and the quality of sound is gr8 for both games and music and i would recommend it to ppl with not too much money to spend!![]()
