Warhammer: Dawn of War

Wow, just replayed the demo for the 10th time in Skirmish and even with only Space-Marines vs. Space Marines, the game totally kicks ass!! I played the Warhammer 40k tabletop for a long time, and so I attuned my eyes to spot for errors or whack gamedesign, but I didn´t find any, instead I was rewarded
with the first game that was able to compress and simulate the dark and hopeless athmosphere of the
41th century and a universe shattered by endless wars!!

I can´t wait to crush other than orcs or space marines in the energy claws of my dreadnoughts, how about you??

I was a big follower of WH fantasy and 40K and really wanted this to be good. But it turned out to be high quality bordom. Maybe I play it different as it should be but it has nothing to do with the real WH 40k at all.

I'm amazed by it aswell. Makes me wanna go back to "traditional" rts once more.
Plus the intro has instantly got to my "game movie hall of fame" :thumbup:

You all are in for a treat with the full version! Orks are funny, you've already seen a squiggith in action. Wait til you see the Greater demon of Khorne for Chaos or the Eldar war god turned loose on a battlefield

Only thing missing is the Tyranids. Guess we have to wait for an expansion.

I will not touch WH40K: Dawn Of War until i've heard it confirmed that the Chaos units shriek: "Blood for the blood god!" during battle! It's bad enough that they opted to include such pedestrian armies like the Orks and the Eldar, rather than the Tyranid horde and the Tau(guess they were afraid that uneducated morons would call it a Starcraft clone), but to leave out one of best known battlecries of Chaos would be an insult to Chaos players everywhere. No battlecry, no purchase.

Liked it very much. To an uneducated moron like myself, the gameplay seemed very old school, wich is good. The CGI is awsome.
