Ghost Recon 2 on the other hand they drop the original gamers that made it great and went for the kids version....same as for R6 RvS.

No they didn't. Gearbox Software did a good job.

gah... I hate it when fat publishers who probably sit on their asses smoking cigars and laughing get all the credit, while some truly talented developers are just locked away inside an office working day and night to release a brilliant package.

There's one thing but this game that makes me SOOO sceptical....it's aimed at ps2 from the beginning, anyone still remember shellshock( ;) ). If they make it for a "typical ps2 user" then i say fu :moon:

Easy there! The publishers do QUITE a bit of work when it comes to getting a game onto store shelves. Aside from providing funds required by developers during the development of the actual game, they also handle manufacturing, marketing and customer support, as well as a variety of other lesser tasks. If a game doesn't run perfectly right out of the box, most gamers are only too happy to blame it all on those "evil" money grubbing suits. I think a lot of gamers would do well to spend some time studying the internal workings of the game industry as whole, rather than placing the blame on the first, best target. I'm not saying publishers are flawless, but don't go giving the developers more credit than they're due.
How do you know the world has gone mad?
It's when the world's best golfer is black, the world's best rapper is white, the French accuse the Americans of being snobbish, and Germany refuses to go to war.
