Half Life 2 GOLD!

I was sincerely amased not to see a new topic about this "last year's" new game GOLD. I read the news, and then came here hoping to see another tech war between sepht and another nooblet (RIP m8, we all still lov u), but no, 2 days gonne by and nothing.

But here it is, the game was finally sent to VU and yes, it's only out in October, the 3rd i think, don't really wanna care though, was all hyped up to play D3, and got a huge techdemo!

I heard they sent an RC (Release Candidate) to VU. This means that it is in the final stages of testing, but if anything is found to be wrong it'll go back to the bug-ironing-out phase and then there will be another RC.

and considering what Valve said about the bugs, I imagine very little could be wrong with it.

HL2 also will not be released until the law suit between Valve and VU Games has been settled. Who knows when that'll happen.
