Pass the check for CS source?

system requirements acording to a website i forgot are 1.2 ghz 256mb ram DX7 video card, i have 1.3ghz P4, 128mb rdram, 256mb Geforcefx5200 at 320/460mhz, will i be able to run the game ? i figure that since my "shared" ram totals 384mb that it should cover the ram that would normaly be used for video in thier requirements, this is of course till i finaly get my amd 64 3000 w/512 system up and working correctly...
so, will it run? also i figure if the game is the same as CS origonal only with a diferent physics engine and better graphics, that all of the events that take place should only consume little more if not the same amount of ram as the origonal CS, ignoring texture and video ram..

It'll run, but on lower settings on a low resolution. Also, your fps count might be very low- like 20-30ish fps. Im no genious tho, because I havent played the game. With my rig i except to get 80fps on max detail on 1024x768

97FPS on the stress test. Highest settings. 1024. My Rig.

I ran the benchmark on all the lowest and off settings and I got like 700 average fps

it said engine eror less than 128 mb of ram or only 128 mb of ram or something like that, damnit, anyway around this? the game never even started..

i was able to play farcry , doom3, painkiller, and other games like that pretty smooth, and csS has lower system requirements than they do so i dont see what this "engine error" could be.

the error is u need more ram. go buy a stick of 512 for 70 bucks. I got a gig of OCZ platinum for 125 at Frys....

The engine sucks.
The game is barly better.
