Does anyone here use the new ATi Control Center? I'm lead to believe (according to ATi's website) that you can safely overclock your videocard with this. Does anyone use it to crank more juice out of their rig? If it's worth it I'll sure try it but I want to get some opinions on it before I do. So any feedback on the new control center feature would be appreciated.

    Thanks

you mean the thing labeled "OverDrive" in the Settings? dude i leave that thing cranked all the time, dosent do any harm at all, although they do say that shortens the life of your card... but personally i think thats a bunch of bs... besides it only over clocks it about 27mhz, well for me at least... im not sure about the other cards, its probobly different if you have 9800Pro, 9800XT, and the x800 Series...

only for teh XTs and/or X800s.

    not for us.

It does have shader optimization features now, which DO NOT TOUCH image quality, just improve performance(unlike Nvidias). really nice.
