hey guys, i just checked the latest news involving this case of 'too-good-to-be-truthfullness', and i am very muched hyped up beyond recognition. and this is REALLY DANGEROUS.

to start things, people not really into the genre (i highly doubt it) should check out the official site:

which has been updated alot lately, and the first thing you gotta do is check out the weapons/vehicles/kits, the videos, and the screens.

what y00 gotta do next is look at THIS interview:

cuz its gonna help you alot in desciding wether you like this game or not.
(also note that interviews before this are as well pretty informative.)

i gotta say, i thought my comp coulnd't handle the load of this game and that is because i suspect my vidcard won't be able to handle it. but that isn't true according to this interview, and thanks to GAMERSHELL themselves i can get one step closer to that optimal gaming exprerience (see sig.) :thumbup:
if it holds up to the arcade feeling the game has as of BF'42, (nooo not BF:V, its ok, but only after 4+ patches) it would surely be the game that will be played till eternity.
the game has been DELAYED in the past, and the releasedate isn't sure yet. although EA and DICE won't say anything, insiders tell us you might wanna think of the months april,may or june. to this extent there has been alot of rumors, one of them stating the release on the 30th of june. this is NOT TRUE and declined by everyone at EA and DICE.
however, i still do not trust EA. they tend to go ahead of themselves alot and fock a game up the very last minute. good thing it was delayed, cuz if BF:V was delayed it surely would have helped the balance issues at start.

so what y'all think? is it too much? is it too arcade? is it too lame? (i would almost say : 'Hell No!', but since i was dissapointed in this über-hyped game Called Halo 2 (god i hate the name suddenly), i force myself to calm down and think the worst of it. it would only get better.)

I'm a chopper fanatic in BF. I'll be ticked if they make choppers so vunerable to planes again...... :rant:


BF2 looks awesome though...what interest me is how will the pings be? I mean, BF requires a pretty good connection speed....

that is something i am curious about too. you see, if your gfx card can handle the load, so will your connection. at least that was the case in BF:V. i hated BF:V at start cuz the lag made the game unplayable... good thing the patches patched this issue alot up and made this an overall fun game to play. im soooo darn afraid something very likely will come up and make BF 2 suck. LAG, GFX and playabilty are the likely things to go bad. EA already descided to tone back the maximum allowed players on a server from 100 to 64. it was too much for the connection to cope with. so, if they are already taking promised stuff in this matter back, im fearing the worst.
let's see if i can find another update.

oh yeah, chopppers all the way baby! god i love that in-game hud and weapon switch! though i feel this one is going to be a really fun vehicle-camp game lol!
